Looking for a fun family-friendly activity Labor Day Weekend? Join STL Adventures as we go Apple Picking in Blue Ridge Saturday, September 3rd!

Mercier Orchards is a family owned orchard started by Bill and Adele Mercier in 1943. Mercier Orchards is just as famous for it's Fried Apple Pies and Apple Cider as it is for its over 45 varieties of apples!

Join STL as we pick our own fresh apples, take a tractor tour around Mercier Orchards , and sample fresh apple cider and fried apple pies in Mercier's Marketplace. Afterwards we will head down to Main Street in Blue Ridge to enjoy a yummy lunch at Harvest On Main . Please indicate in your RSVP if you plan to join us for lunch so I can reserve our table.

Hey Everyone! Just confirmed numbers with the restaurant and they reserved the whole back room for us! They asked if we can bring cash to pay for lunch to reduce the number of credit cards that need to be run through the register. They're expecting big crowds for Labor Day weekend and want to reduce our wait times with payment;)

Anyone wishing to carpool please coordinate with each other in the comments section on this event page. Blue Ridge is approximately 1 1/2 hours from Atlanta Metro-depending where you live. Camilla and I will be driving up together to save on gas money:)

Mercier Orchards is one of my favorite places to go. If you're planning on going rafting the following day in Ducktown, it's not very far from Mercier, either.
