Are you ready STL?! Are you ready to witness an exciting event you will never forget?! If so, come out and cheer on the Atlanta Roller Girls.

Forget everything you learned about derby from the stuff that was on in the late 90's. This is nothing like that. The ARG uses a flat track and is definitely not staged. Real women are actually competing, and it is a BLAST!

It may be confusing at first, but they're very newbie friendly. They do a demo before each bout, the rules are in the program (and above the urinals), and they have incredibly friendly "Ask Me!" girls wandering around.

The action is fast, the names are amusing, and the announcers are entertaining. There is cheap food and it is BYOB. Feel free to bring your favorite drink, but no glass is allowed.

Usually a band (or DJ) plays between bouts and several little booths are set up in the courtyard for your shopping pleasure.

Make sure you buy some raffle tickets and a t-shirt to support the girls. They don't get paid for this, and actually spend their own money for a lot of what happens. This is a labor of love, don't doubt it.

TIMES: Game 1, 5pm and Game 2, 7:30pm

COST: $15 one game, $25 both games

*As a group we will definitely attend the first game.  I would love to watch both games so if you wish to join me, please feel free.  Floor seating is in high demand, so we must get there early to secure seating together.*

GROUP MEETING TIME: 3:30pm

GROUP MEETING PLACE: Right outside the doors of the venue.  I'll be waiting in line. My cell number will be provided to all those planning to attend.

TICKETS - You are responsible for purchasing your own tickets for this event.  The sooner you get your tickets the better.  These games sell out FAST!

Important note: when you RSVP, include the last 4 digits of your ticket number when you confirm your meetup RSVP. You can do this in the COMMENTS box that appears when you RSVP. Please also put "first", "second" or "both" in your RSVP indicating which games you will attend.  I want to make sure I know who to look out for and when.

LOAF DEALS VOUCHERS - If you purchased the loaf deals vouchers, be sure to print the voucher and bring it with you to the event.  Those will serve as your tickets and are 100% guaranteed (which means they know exactly how many were sold and you will get in).

Parking
The Yaarab Shrine Center offers plenty of free, gated parking. There is also overflow parking across the street. Please note: The gates of the Shrine Center will be locked at 10 pm Saturday night and will not open again until Monday morning, so please don’t leave your car in the lot!

Check out our concession stand, located outside in the courtyard to the right of the building entrance and hosted by the Yaarab Shrine Center! CASH ONLY.
