Hi Leslie,
I am happy to see you joined the group, but unfortunately, I do not have time to devote to the running of the group, so I'm stepping down. I took it over a few months ago, because the original organizer ran into huge time obstacles. I thought the group worth saving, but turnout has been low, and I just do not have the time to try to rebuild it, as I'm in law school now. We are considering moving it to facebook, or a webpage.

Hello Leslie,
Here are some High Falls Park trip facts: We have 10 or so folks signed up for our Sunday afternoon paddle. The 2 park solo-kayaks are already rented. We are hoping for rain since the river is at its lowest level. This means when the water level is low you paddle through some of the shoals, then you get out of your boat and walk some of the shoals. Also, the weather in Jackson, GA changes quickly...unless it is a significant thunderstorm, we should be fine getting on the river.
