Speaker: Rick Singh, Orange County Property Appraiser

Born in 1962 in Georgetown, Guyana, Rick Singh spent the first decade of his life in South America. In 1972, Rick relocated with his family to New York City, where he graduated with honors from the prestigious Aviation High School with an FAA Airframe Certificate. Following graduation, Rick enlisted in the U.S. Army. Rick was honorably discharged in 1986 with the rank of Specialist 4.

In 1986, Rick relocated to Orlando, Florida, where he operated a family-owned real estate company. In 1994, Rick joined the Orange County Property Appraiser’s Office and started his career as a field appraiser. Rick also successfully completed over 100 hours of International Association of Assessing Officer (IAAO) professional appraisal courses, and earned a Certified Florida Evaluator (CFE) designation from the State of Florida’s Department of Revenue. In 1999, Rick became a State Certified Residential Appraiser. Rick opened his own appraisal firm and started a real estate company, where he has served the Central Florida community for 11 years. During this time, Rick has hired, trained, managed, and reviewed numerous appraisers.

The Coffee Club meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. at Fairwinds Credit Union Corporate Office located on the corner of Alafaya Trail & Science at 3087 N. Alafaya Trail, Orlando, FL 32826.
