Karen M. Seward. I have two cairn terriers. I would like to attend meet up groups.
I like the idea. I was happy when I found it. I really liked the people and other dogs. It was fun. The problem was Wendell. Wendell is a rescue. We have had him since June 3rd of this year. We were told he was a couch potato when, in fact, he gets really bored. I thought this would be perfect as he likes other dogs. The problem is, as stated above, he does not like cameras. We have no idea why. Once the cameras came out, he spent almost the entire time hiding under the slide. I felt so bad as he was exhibiting anxiety. I was hoping once the leash came off (I was not told to bring rabies certificate so he was not allowed off the leash until it was provided. My husband came later on with the certificate for Wendell and I left him off the leash), I was hoping he would play. He did not. He went from hiding under the slide to hiding behind the chairs and did not really interact with any of the other dogs.
