EVENT FULL - Listening Session Part 3 of 3 - M/F Communication: date effectively

THIS EVENT IS FULL. Feel free to join the waitlist in case a spot opens up. My limit is 16 and have already surpassed that so thanks for your patience and understanding.

Please note this event is WAIT LIST ONLY. This is NOT first-come, first-served, as I need to be able to pick the people who I feel will most benefit from the material and be a supportive asset to the entire group. First-timers are still welcome if there is enough space. (max 16 seats). There is a one-time charge of $5 for this event (you can come to all three sessions but just pay once). The venue also asks everyone to spend a minimum of $5 for the use of the room ($10 total). Please only RSVP if you plan to come. I require 48 hours notice to fill your spot if you need to cancel. Thank you in advance for your respect and courtesy to the group and others on the wait list.

This is a 3-part series running three Fridays in a row. If you can't make all three, no worries, but attending all the sessions would be ideal.

We will listen to an expert in male / female communication and discuss the topics and ideas presented.

Some of what you can expect to learn:

why women can be clingy after sex

why men don't seem to want to commit

how to interpret the mixed messages in dating (and not take it so personally!)

Plus lots of other nuggets of wisdom, in addition to a great opportunity to meet other singles who are interested in personal development and learning how to better communicate with the opposite sex :)

***LADIES!!!*** If you want to get started before the event, please take a look at Alison Armstrong's book The Queen's Code. www.queenscode.com - Chapter 1 is available for free and it is only $15 for the ebook and all the videos. A lot of my past participants were skeptical, but everyone who has read the book agrees that it is VERY helpful.

Thanks Marie for sharing in your curiosity and inviting us to learn alongside you. =)

I scanned my notes to pdf format and uploaded them to the file section of the Vancouver Smart Singles group. To locate the file section, go to the "More" menu along the top and then to "Files". If anyone wants them emailed to them directly, please send me your email address again...thx

Cheers everyone and I hope to see you all again soon!

Interesting article...not directly relevant but a different perspective in thought processes between men and women....which we have discussed in these sessions. http://m.theweek.com/article.php?id=99512

That actually happened to me in a relationship, where it was so CLEARLY about something he was going through... but I got all upset and tried to make it work, when it would have been more effective to just step back and give him some space. Live and lean :)

Bev and Cheryl, we will actually be covering a similar topic about how to disagree with a man without engaging in an argument, on Monday night in the women's only listening session. It's gonna be good...hope you can both make it!

Will this 3-part be presented again in future?

    June 13, 2013

    • Marie

I'm not sure. But Alison A. Armstrong has her stuff on iTunes for really cheap right now...not sure if it is a special or some kind of mistake, since her programs are usually a couple hundred on her site. This series is called In Synch With The Opposite Sex and you can find it on iTunes for $20 or $30 right now.

Hi just curious I cant make it to parts 1 and 2 would I miss a lot of material?

    May 28, 2013

    • Marie

yes. you will miss a lot. It is meant to be heard as a series. However, you will also have the chance to meet women who value communication and bettering themselves... so there is still value to showing up. I will leave it up to you to decide.
