This event is for WOMEN ONLY (sorry, guys, we still love you!) and is WAIT LIST ONLY. This is NOT first-come, first-served, as I need to be able to pick the people who I feel will most benefit from the material and be a supportive asset to the entire group. First-timers are still welcome if there is enough space.
The first 45 minutes will be review of the core concepts and then we'll delve into new material. This event is suitable for first timers and regular members of my listening sessions. Please note that I will be playing the videos from my cel phone so it will be mostly audio-based. The videos are mostly talking, anyway, so this saves me from shlepping around my giant, heavy laptop :) Thanks in advance for your understanding.
Please note that July will likely be the last month I offer this specific series of listening sessions. Please also note that if you are suffering from trauma or do not feel safe in intimate group discussions where sensitive topics can sometimes arise, this may not be the right event for you. This is not a support group and I am not a licensed therapist. I do my best to keep the discussion focused on what is relevant and constructive, but it is your responsibility to take care of your own emotional safety. Thanks :)
I recently signed up for a membership site with a licensed relationship therapist who specializes in helping women find and maintain fulfilling romantic relationships. There is a $5 fee for this event, to help cover my costs of the membership. Waves also asks us to spend at least $5 on food or beverages for the privilege of using the meeting room (total expense is $10).
There is only space for up to 8 people in the room. PLEASE ANSWER THE QUESTIONS WHEN YOU RSVP (this may not show up on your smart phone). If you are a no-show, you may be removed from future events that have a wait list. If you need to cancel, please give 48 hours notice so we can fill your spot. Thanks in advance for your understanding.
Some of the topics we'll be covering include:
Setting/maintaining healthy boundaries with men (and people in general)
What men value in relationships (things they might not even be aware of)
How to effectively disagree with a man without creating an argument.
Do you have to settle? Are you too picky?
How to get more second, third and fourth dates and stop the endless cycle of first dates.
Come learn new skills and make friends who are committed to establishing and maintaining healthy relationships! Please be sure to bring a pen and paper as you WILL want to take notes.
***If you want to get started before the event, please take a look at Alison Armstrong's book The Queen's Code. www.queenscode.com - Chapter 1 is available for free and it is only $15 for the ebook and all the videos. A lot of my past participants were skeptical, but everyone who has read the book has later agreed that it is VERY beneficial.
