Anyone Have Monday Off?

I have Monday off and plan on heading over to Burnt Meadow. I hiked it back in the fall but I've read reviews saying that it makes a good winter hike. A good idea to bring crampons.

The Maine DOT has also put up signs on route 160 to identify the trailhead. The lot is not plowed but my friends hiked last Sunday and only some patches of ice were left in the parking lot. Crampons or microspikes were fine last week...and that was before the big warm up. Anyone interested in carpooling tomorrow from the Westbrook park and ride lot off of exit 47 or from the Standish Hannaford (Colonial Marketplace Plaza) ?

I always have Monday/ Tuesday off but I volunteer Mondays right in the middle of the day.
With a little more notice, I'm definitely down for something on Mondays!

Thanks. But i have babysitting duty this Monday. I love to hike, but since the old knees are somewhat shot, I can't do the extreme hiking. I am fully retired so my schedule is pretty well open. The more notice I have the better.
