Stillness Speaks by Eckhart Tolle: Ch. 7 "Nature"

Join us Sat. June 15, 1-3pm at Sunset Park Church, 1515 Maple st., in Santa Monica (free parking in church lot) as we delve deeply into Chapter 7, "Nature," of Eckhart Tolle's book, Stillness Speaks.

We also do a short, relaxing, silent meditation at the beginning as well as engage in lively dialogue. Come, participate and get your questions answered so that confusion becomes clarity, and with clarity comes the Freedom that you have always been, but was obscured by the mind's thoughts/beliefs.

"The contemplation of nature can free you of that 'me,' the great troublemaker." -Eckhart Tolle

*** Cost is by Donation (you give whatever you feel moved to).

Much Love,

Michael

I couldn't make it today (we were moving), but I want to come to the next one! Sounds like it was great.

I loved the chapter on nature. I wish we would all leave our minds outside the door before coming in... Maybe some silence interspersed with the reading would help us be in the NOW...

I used to be a "plant killer", as I am more present and have a more conscious relationship with everything around me, I've noticed that my plants are happy long-term guests in my home and the ones in my garden are growing and thriving to delight me and those who pass bye and enjoy them (including bees/butterflies/snails, etc.)

Thank you to all who attended for sharing your wisdom and beautiful presence. (And great to see many new faces!) Remember, the heaviest thing you will ever pick up is a thought. :) You are that which is Aware of ALL thoughts, feelings and perceptions, but is itself nothing (no-thing). Rest in what you already effortlessly and timelessly are right HERE and right NOW. Love, -Michael

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
