Unfortunately, no club discount for this one, but when registering online be sure to indicate A SNAIL'S PACE when they ask what running club you are with. The Club receives a 10% rebate check for all ASP entries which goes into our All Chapter Fund.

Guests Will Receive Shuttle Service, Savoy “Run Away” Breakfast and VIP Runners Room
Costa Mesa, Calif. (Feb. 22, 2012) — The Hotel Hanford, Costa Mesa’s newest boutique hotel, has announced it will be offering a stay package specifically designed for runners participating in the OC Marathon on Sunday, May 6, 2012. Conveniently located near the marathon course, runners will receive a host of services and benefits to prepare them for running along 26.2 miles of Orange County landmarks and coastline.
The Hotel Hanford’s VIP Runners Hospitality Room will be offered complimentary to OC Marathon runners and guests staying at the hotel, who will also benefit from complementary amenities including rainwater showerheads, free wired and wireless Wi-Fi and complementary parking. The hotel’s Summit Ballroom will be transformed into a runners’ “psych up” zone complete with yoga mats and towels for stretching, lounge area for meeting friends/family, Banana Bar and empowering music. The Savoy Lounge will be open at 4 a.m. for coffee and offer its “Run Away” breakfast, which includes bottled water or sports drinks, two hard-boiled eggs, two energy bars and a banana. The VIP Runners Hospitality Room is complimentary for up to 2 guests per room, who will also receive a wristband to ride the OC Marathon Shuttle. Additional guests will be charged $10.
