It would be nice to use this site to organize some dinner Meetups. This is my first time at the conference. I'm coming from Tampa, Florida. Really looking forward to it.

Where in the hotel is the meetup? I'll call the hotel, but if anyone reads this, is there a shuttle or taxi service from BART (maybe Millbrae?) or CalTrain to the hotel? Due to my back injury and medication, I'm not supposed to drive right now. If anyone wants to carpool from the E. Bay, I'll be glad to share expenses (gas, bridge tolls).

I'm assuming the meetup will be here: http://www.sanmateomarriott.com/dining_bar.php

There's an airport shuttle that runs on the hour from 5am to 9pm -- you can take the BART to the airport station, then exit and cross the street for the airport shuttle... Then figure out some other way to get back...

Thanks, Todd and Forrest. I'm in N. Berkeley, Forrest. I haven't been able to leave my house for 3 weeks, but I could try walking 2 blocks to BART. I'll email you soon - my email is hrudicka at lmi.net.

If it's the same as last year, you just walk in the front door, and the bar is across the lobby on the right side.

Thanks, Forrest! I enjoyed our phone conversation. So, SNCR friends, I'm going to make every effort to come with Forrest tonight, depending on how I'm doing by 4pm or so. It may be my only chance to see you this time, so I'm really looking forward to it!:-)
