This group is for mommies who want to stay active in all facets of their lives with the little ones in tow. Are you are interested in staying active to get back in shape? Or are you simply in need of that little push to do a fun walk, jog or bike ride with some new friends? Maybe you would like to set a goal for your 1st (or 20th) 5k, marathon or triathlon... or maybe you are you just looking to mix up the play-dates for the little ones (and yourself). Perhaps go out one night (for just a little while) to chat with the big girls over a glass of wine...or even meet up at different members houses for play-dates. What about a shopping date at the mall?
This group was started to serve as positive support & motivation for our health and wellness while creating new lifetime mommy friendships. It's been a great resource for many of us who've joined. In addition to our weekly walks/runs, we have enjoyed many craft/lunch parties at homes and local parks, various nights out for the whole family (movies in the park, farmer's markets, etc.), and Mom's Nights out. All members are encouraged to participate in activities and schedule activities as well.
Fyi- note that as far as "active" activities go, this group is intended for mommies of all abilities, especially mommies that need some support getting out there and getting active again (or for the first time).
