  • This location is shown only to members

Hi everyone!

This route is exactly 10km and should take us just under 2 hours.

The route is at this link:

We start at 2pm sharp!

Dogs are only welcome if I've met them before :)

Toilets: At the start and end of the walk at the Phoenix Park Visitors Centre.

The food in the Phoenix Park Visitors Centre is simply delicious!

Please note the walk will not be a fast pace and I will ask that people do not walk off ahead of the rest of the group.

I will be in the Phoenix Park Visitors Centre cafe from 1230pm.

Hi everyone! I'll be in the Phoenix Park Visitors Centre cafe from 1230pm. The walk starts at 2pm sharp! If you haven't been to the Phoenix Park Visitors Centre cafe before please please plan your journey as it is not easy to find the first time you go there and there's no quick way to get there by public transport. The Phoenix Park is huge and it's important to plan your journey. The best public transport option is to get the 37,38,38A,39,39A,70 to the Halfway House pub on the Navan Road and enter through the Ashtown Gate of the Phoenix Park. The buses leave you a 12 minute walk from the start of the walk. Don't get a 46A as that'll leave you a 40minute walk from the start of the walk. The Luas is too far also at 1hr away. The other option is the train from Drumcondra, Connolly, Tara Street or Pearse to Ashtown. From Ashtown station it's 15mins walking to the start of the walk. If you've got any questions please email, text or ring me. Please don't be late! Thanks. Alan. [masked]
