What's your favorite aircraft, all times?

In elementary school I drew Grumman TBM Avengers & sketched light airplane concepts. The P-51 & Corsair are common favorites but may require 2-3 hrs work for every hr flown. I heard kids don't seek careers using math & decided museums & elementary schools need playground cockpits of airplanes to sit in & cockpit simulator in a science classes or lab. Also museums need static displays & flying replicas of historic airplanes like: Stearman trainer, P-40, P-51, P-38, P-47 & jets like: F-5F, A-10, F-16B, Me-262. My nonprofit startup goal is to donate static historic airplane designs to museums. Selling flying replicas helps to fund static replicas. I had a blast doing two loops. I believe Pilatus P-3 & T-34 replica aerobatic 2-seaters can sell[masked] kits a year designed for 12-g's with[masked] hp that only need[masked] hrs to finish to fly. A near perfect outside may cruise @[masked]kts. We need 50-60 photos of ea. fighter size airplane to convert photos to a CAD file to make replicas.

What sort of activity would you suggest for coming meetups?

I don't know what activities you do but a potluck lunch at an airport sounds like a fun way to meet many aviation enthusiasts. A BBQ or lunch under the wing of a March museum airplane can be fun. Flights to other airport fly-inns, airshows, and some camp in flights sound like fun. I have a inflatable 2-person canoe and a Klepper 2-person kayak that fits into 3 bags after taken apart. The Klepper needs the wood sanded down and painted with polyurethane to not need varnish every 2-4 years. I'm planning to offer a free beach volleyball class next summer members are welcome to join. Or join me playing through winter. Ocean Park Beach, Santa Monica is a great free outdoor gym with a spectacular view most of the year.

What's your primary relation to aviation? (Private Pilot, Spotter, Desk Pilot, etc)

Currently interest is getting Private Pilot ticket and qualified in different airplanes to take check rides. Want to set up a Design, Innovation and Technology center at one university with a tape placement machine like Boeing and Beech use to make the 787 and Premier business jet. Also need a laser sinter machine to use like a 3D printer so students can work with individuals and corporations to develop new concepts inexpensively with college engineering students doing some design work. This should make it practical to produce new designs that are more efficient than 50 year old airplanes. And limited production designs for specific applications. Also make cars, boats & homes.

Introduction

Hello, I bought Cassett racer plans in high school to add a back seat & a 160 hp engine. A Harmon Rocket with a much larger engine able to cruise near or faster than 300 mph with a metal airframe is more useful for weekend trips and vacations.
