PAIN & GAIN - 4/27/2013 @ ArcLight Beach Cities

For those who haven't heard, longtime SoCal Movie Fanatics Group Organizer Chris Utley has come out of (AHEM!) "retirement" and back into the SCMF fold to continue his mission of bringing members the biggest and best movie events in the Meetup community.  Welcome him back as the SCMF crew catches Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne "THE ROCK" Johnson & Anthony Mackie in Michael Bay's "PAIN & GAIN" on Saturday April 27th at ArcLight Beach Cities!

THE PLOT: . Based on the unbelievable true story of three personal trainers in 1990s Miami who, in pursuit of the American Dream, get caught up in an extortion ring and kidnapping scheme that goes horribly wrong.

Check out the RED BAND TRAILER!

  • Meet at the ArcLight Café for pre movie drinks (and a few choruses of "I KNEW YOU'D BE COMING BACK TO SCMF!") at 7 PM. We will be hanging out in the Café till 7:30 PM.
  • Showtime at 7:45 PM.  Tickets on sale now at  Be sure to choose the 4/27/2013 Beach Cities showtimes.  Chris is sitting in J11.  Choose your seats in the same section so we can sit together as a group.
  • Post movie wrap up at California Pizza Kitchen (located in the Manhattan Village mall on Sepulveda & Rosecrans - right around the corner from the theatre) after the flick.
  • Call/text Chris at (714)[masked] if you are running late or having trouble finding us!

It is GREAT to be back home at SCMF and I can't wait to see my old friends and make new ones as we hunt down every multiplex in the city checking out the best that Hollywood has to offer!

I don't know what's worse: The fact that these roid heads actually DID THIS...or the fact that Michael Bay honored these bozos by making a MOVIE about what they did!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
