Hi All,
We simply wanted to let you know that we are ready to rock and roll for this Saturday :) If you haven't registered through meetup to attend and you are, please do so now. Though I have my check off list of things to do still, I know it will all come together for when you arrive. So without further ado, we wanted to give you the latest updates of who has stepped up to plate to be a sponsor for give away prizes and to also to let you know about the car class competitions. I'll summarize the day of the agenda to make it easy.

BBQ with live band/ Risky Note/ entertainment/ The Sound (local radio station is coming out too!)
Time to let the games begin!
This time we'll fully dominate the Traffic Circle (aka 1 of SoCal's largest round about) with our smarts to play a game of Poker Rally.
We'll circle back to the shop to see who has the best hand to win the game and to close out our day.

For the smart competition, you will be able to participate in the following classes (our smarts excluded):
Best Theme/ Decoration (This is you and your smart decorated)
Best Custom Paint/ Graphics
Best Interior
Best Modified
Longest Distance award
Crowd Favorite

Here is the list of things you will want to bring:
Foldable chair per guest
Make sure your smart has a full tank or close to it!
SPF
Bottled water for throughout the day
A pen or pencil, preferably a pen
Light jacket/ sweater
Camera and or video camera

Those who have so kindly volunteered to help, I cannot thank you enough. I will contact you within the next few days via meetup or SCOA to let you know. For those that I have seen or spoken to, yes I would love your help at the BBQ and Registration tables :) THANK YOU SO MUCH!

We still need to recruit a volunteer who is able to video our smarts going around the round about. If you've got that talent come on down! :)

We will be selling extra raffle tickets. All raffle, extra ticket money will be donated to meetup.com/socalsmarties so we can keep this site alive. Also, don't forget, the registers will be closed. If you would like to pick up product for your smart, please make sure that place your "WILL CALL" by EOD Friday, 10-6pm :)

OK, thought I would chime in to let friends know we haven't forgotten you :) Keeping with our original vision, we wanted to let you know that our agenda is for a complete and fun filled day.

As we get closer, more details and specific info will follow, but for now our day is looking like this:

Also, based on interest, there may be a Sunday morning run as the shop as the starting point.

Hope you don't mind, I will be asking for volunteers to help out with short stints, if willing with the following:
Registration Tables
Parking assistants
BBQ (bbq'ing, cake distribution, etc.)

Remember, our registers will be closed on the day of, but if you would like to do a prepaid will call, especially for those traveling afar ;-) please let us know in advance as we'll help you out.
