HTML5 WebCamp was one of the three series lectures of that day. The other two were XNA Windows phone development and Windows Azure Cloud development which I attended. These lectures help developers with their web applications both mobile and orthodox Windows based.

well, i live in west la and if there is the slightest chance i won't be able to get it i am not going. it's one thing to have a good speaker, another to have a shitty organization.

Julia, it will be great if you can go to the event in Irvine and tell us how it went in a full baked mode. All that I wrote is that I registered and I couldn't get in because the event was full and nobody really cared if you are registered or not. I know the speaker from another event and I think she is great.

I can use feedback too since i registered for the april 20th HTML 5 orientation in Irvine and would like to know if it was worthwhile. in any case, just posting some half baked info on a meetup is not cool.

It sounds like the meetup didn't go too well. Since I neither organized or attended the meetup does anyone have anything to add besides Nia's comments? I'm trying to evaluate if I should allow our group to be associated with that groups events in the future.

Even I registered at the Microsoft events website and at the meetup site and I was CONFIRMED at both places- I was not permitted to the event. Why do we need to register if it doesn't mean anything?

    PARKING :
Enter through Gate 4 on Jefferson Boulevard. After turning onto Royal Street, make a left after the tollbooth to enter Parking structure D ($8.00 Per Vehicle). Davidson Conference Center is just east of the structure.

I don't know. This is a purely member posted meetup, which I think is great. Does anyone who's going to this want to take on a Host role for this? I'll give you permissions to change the event info. I'm giving it to Alice for the time being since she initiated it.

Is this event to be held inside USC? Which dept/room?

Hi Alice, since I don't know the organizers of the event and I'm not doing it I don't think I'll be posting the event myself. I can't go that day too. Although people are welcome to jump on. I'll include it in a group email I'll be sending out soon though.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
