It was great meeting you folks for however briefly our encounters were. I'm really excited about the potential of this group and Hatch.

Wow. Last night was energizing. So many interesting people who are doing so many amazing things. If you truly want to make a change for the better in 2014, Hatch is the place to do it. I joined Hatch as a fulltime member and I know others in our group also signed up. I have no idea of my schedule for being there yet, but Amy Pearl was happy to invite our group to have our Meetups at Hatch. This will allow all of us to get more involved in either developing our own projects or supporting others who need to build a team and hopefully many of you will become a member too.

I am sorry that was late and missed many of you, but I hope you were able to network and learn what Hatch was all about. I will post up the next Meetup time and date upon confirmation with Hatch.

Interacting with people with all sorts of creative and brilliant ideas does seem a bit intimidating, as I currently have very few undeveloped social entrepreneurial ideas. I'll dive in nevertheless and see where this event takes me.

Hi Jason. The first step is moving one foot in front of the other so as long as you can do that you are following the same dance as everyone else. Once you interact with idea people you either jump on-board one of their projects or you figure out what issues inspire you to act upon. I don't think there is any secret formula or timeline and it's about the journey not the destination. (I stole that from Alan Watts, but he stole it too.)

I will be attending with some of my students. Warner Pacific College is now offering a major in Social Entrepreneurship.

If I had the money, I'd highly consider getting that major.

Perhaps after becoming a successful social entrepreneur, I'll be able to afford the social entrepreneurship degree from Warner Pacific College.

Just read this Nassim Nicholas Taleb quote on his Facebook page, "Being an entrepreneur is an existential, not just a financial thing."

OK, thanks Roger. It is great to see all the energy behind young people as they start to see the value of a career and a society built by Social Entrepreneurs. It will be great to meet you and your students too.

OK, I am truly looking forward to meeting all 124 of you nice folks who wanted to get a Social Entrepreneur Meetup going. This is our big chance.

Even if only a few of you can make it, I will invest time, money, and energy into building this Meetup now. Hatch has truly given me the inspiration needed to dedicate time to the extremely important business of building a network of strong social enterprises that care about their workers, the local community, and the environment.

    See you there.....
