We invite you to join us for networking conversations over lunch with social entrepreneurs, "changemakers", business partners, professionals, investors, marketing specialists, small housing providers and other members of the Friendship Archway Network.
EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED!
The first step is to get to know each other better to see if we are ready to work together harmoniously with appreciation, forgiveness and understanding. These monthly community events provide opportunities to develop more community allies and to connect with others with similar interests. Express what you are enthusiastic about to the co-organizers and followup.
WHEN: 12:30PM TO 2:30PM on the third Sundays of each month.
We appreciate the excellent context provided on www.ashoka.org, www.citizenbase.org and www.changemakers.com about social entrepreneurs, changemakers and the importance of developing a "citizenbase" of support for your vision and mission. We also appreciate Ed Barrientos, Ryan Healy, Ryan Paugh and the high quality educational programs of the GW Office of Entrepreneurship under the superb leadership of Jim Chung and Denitsa Rakitska at the George Washington University.
These 3rd Sunday monthly events are opportunities for people in the Wash. DC area to make new contacts face to face. They are also a way to develop new friendships and trust by enjoying conversations over lunch and by working together on community projects to achieve shared aspirations. There will be a round of self introductions after everybody have arrived. We sit at one of these discussion tables for lunch (self-pay for food you order): people interested in more (1) social entrepreneurial networking (2) career, professional development or mutual support or (3) more joy, good humor and infinite energy. After lunch, and a round of self-introductions, feel free to do more face-to-face speed networking and exchange cards with those you wish to follow up with.
This is a wonderful time for social entrepreneurs and changemakers: interest rates are low, people have time and are motivated to invest in themselves, build new mutually beneficial relationships, start new social venture projects together or build their businesses. Many investors regularly attend our monthly meetings. They are looking for suitable people to collaborate with or invest in. These 3rd Sunday luncheon events are enjoyable ways to get to know each other, particularly for women.
See you on 3rd Sundays at noon. We have been organizing these each month since 1997 initially from Capital Professional Center office building conference room near GWU (George Washington University). The events are being held at the same time and place each month for your convenience. They are held at the Burma Restaurant, 740 6th St. NW 2nd floor, DC 20001. Save the 3rd Sunday of each month for more joy, friendship and prosperity!
Please come, invite your contacts to meet you at this community event on 3rd Sundays noon, develop community support or "citizen base", connect with new prospective clients and align with mutually supportive friends and allies for personal, economic and community advancement! For more background, http://www.archway2.org We appreciate everybody's contributions and volunteer efforts to continue these in-person networking events in Downtown, Washington D.C. Free admission; the event is open to the public.

We are looking for web and technology entrepreneurs to collaborate on social entrepreneurial and sector infrastructure projects for the public good. We also wish to acknowledge the fabulous technology platform and support assistance from Meetup.com headquarters team! We thank Meetup.com for their ongoing innovation and support for local organizers.

They have also pioneered many other successful projects. Look forward to see you on 3rd Sundays at noon at the Burma Restaurant in Chinatown DC!
