To stay in touch with how sales and business is changing. If you do not keep up with the changes, you might find yourself left behind. I was very close to being left behind and don't intend to let it happen again. We get used to working in our own little bubble of the world and when everything is going great it can be a nice place to be. However, when things start changing and we have to come out of that bubble we find that so many things were taking place and we were unaware. Luckily my bubble broke before it blew away.
