A well done event: both panelists presented different experiences in terms of how they were using social media both from a PR perspective as well as how social media was used across the organization. It'd be gerat to do a follow-up event, or perhaps a series, with every panel having a different focus since last night revealed the "social media" topic to be quite broad (connecting with customer groups, PR, virtual conferences, etc). Definitely worth the commute down from SF though! thanks Jen and team!

I definitely learned some things about the value of s/m for mobilizing a large enterprise. I work in health care where it wouldn't make sense to offer a global strategy -- too much to swallow without clear ROI yet. Having a panel of high tech giants is still preaching to the choir. Since talking to people I've met on Twitter we're still trying to figure out how to present the opportunity to use social media to transform the organization. It's still baby steps for a lot of us.
