PARIS 50+ SEPTEMBER 14TH DRINKS & DINNER

PARIS 50+ SOCIAL COCKTAILS  & DINNER

 SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 14th, 2013

The Horses Tavern

16 Carrefour de l'Odeon

75006 Paris

7:00- 7:30 pm Cash bar

7:30 - 8:00 Dinner

 Paris Metro: Odeon

5 Euro entry when you arrive

Please remember that the focus of this group is a 50+ Social Outing.

The Horses Tavern is reasonably priced for all budgets with a great selection of food and will allow us to have a pre-dinner cocktail party in a private room and will take reservations on a Saturday night!  The room is large enough to accommodate all that want to attend and is centrally located in Paris.

As this is an honor system arrangement, each person is responsible to pay for what they eat and drink.  It is a good idea to find a Wine Buddy that likes red or white, and order and share the expense of a carafe or bottle.  All newcomers are welcome and if you would like, bring a friend.  When making your RSVP, simply add 1 to your reservation and their name if possible.

We look forward to a wonderful dinner, good conversation and lots of laughter again.  Come join us for a evening with good food, good conversation with a group of friendly, fun and interesting 50+'ers!

Metro: Odeon

    Bon jour Patricia,
Thank you so much for arranging the Meetup last night. Definitely worth the swim from the 14eme! Restaurant and food were excellent and the varied people filled the evening with interesting conversation. I know this is very hard work to organize and to actually get people to attend so I do appreciate it. And you shall see me again soon---every month when I swim from Brighton over to Paris!!! Thank you again.

Regards to all --- I enjoyed meeting you and you did not make me feel either old or like a newbie/outsider.

An enjoyable evening - it's always good to catch up with some founder members of the group and also to meet new people. A great crowd - always fun and interesting! Thanks again to Patricia for organising the event - we all know that a lot of work is needed to make these events happen!

I think that we all owe a debt of gratitude to Patricia for arranging these wonderful evenings & events in order to meet each other & make new friends. So much work goes into organizing these meetups (I know because I have a group of my own) and the most important reward is seeing people enjoying themselves!
    BRAVO & thank you Patricia!!!

I know we are 50+ if you are talking about an "Honor System"! I think only West Point, Annapolis, and the air equivalent still have Honor Codes these days! After your stressful week with the cruise company dare I try to make you laugh with the fact that I can probably manage a carafe on my own and still be honourable! Maybe I am up too late working on this presentation for Maison & objet! See you on 14th! Any special attire? Best to all!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
