In July, HiiL - The Hague Institute for the Internationalisation of Law asked her organization, the Courthouse Dogs Foundation to apply for an award for Innovating Justice.
Molly B graduated from Canine Companions for Independence (CCI). Canine Companions for Independence agreed to become the first assistance dog organization in the world to place a dog to assist others in the criminal justice system in 2004 and to place Molly B as a role model for how a facility dog can meaningfully help hundreds of people during a working career. Her calming presence, along with her canine friends promotes justice with compassion. The use of courthouse dogs can help bring about a major change in how the emotional needs of all involved in the criminal justice system.
