Arrival at 7 - 7:30 pm

Entry  5 Euros in envelope with name on arrival

We will once again get together at the favorite restaurant of Sam Taub at Les Jardins Contini.  Per usual, this friendly restaurant has offered a (free) kir and crostini before the meal and a limoncello at the end of our meal. All prices are very affordable for all with a wonderful variety to choose from.

The menu and portions are very large and the staff is very friendly and offers great service. There are 11 cold appetizers, 3 hot appetizers, 8 meal size salads, 20 pizzas (from 8,90 to 14,90) 13 kinds of pasta (from 9,90 to 15,90), 13 meat dishes (from 13,50 to 21,90), 10 fish dishes (from 14,50 to 17,90). With main dishes you have a choice of pasta, rice, frites, green beans, or salad.

For after the main plat, there a 6 kinds of cheeses, 19 desserts, around 7 €, a cafe gormand for 6,90 including an italien coffee with a mini tiramisu and a mini mousse au chocolat.

They have all kinds of cocktails, French and Italian wine in bottles, soft drinks, digestifs etc. Wine in a pitcher (red, rose, or white) is 4 € for 25 cl or 7 € for 50 cl.

Metro service on line 4 between Montparnasse and Montrouge will not be operating on May 17, 18, 19, and 20. There will be replacement busses, but the easiest is either to get to Denfert by line 6 or RER B or to use busses 28, 38, and 68.

Just left you a message on your phone. I am walking wounded and have decided that in order not to injure myself further, I better not attempt the dinner this evening---on the other side of Paris. Would love to see everyone, but need to make sure I can get to the doc's on Monday . . . .

    Hi Patricia,
Wish we could make it. Sadly, we have to wait until October to return to our home in Paris. We miss our friends abroad. Hope all who attend this lovely event have a wonderful time!

Hi, I joined this group a bit early since I won't arriving in Paris until Oct 1. I'm learning some French but probably won't be very fluent. Is it ok to speak some English?
