Screening of "Lolita-Slave to Entertainment"

My Lady Motorcycle Riders and friends Libbie and Dawn are hosting this event and Dawn has generously rented out the Edmonds theater to show a private screening of the documentary "Lolita- Slave to Entertainment" to raise awareness of the plight of Orcas in captivity. I'm helping to spread the word about this event.  Please feel free to share with other groups.  Bring friends, family, guests - all are welcome and more the merrier!  If you'd like to be listed as the host for this group in particular, please let me know. Thank you ~ Claudette

Perhaps you have seen the move "Blackfish" which has been playing at the Seven Gables theater in Seattle ? If not, I highly recommend it...

We have also recently discovered a Facebook page for a group called "Bikers 4 Orcas" and we thought combining our love for animals and bikes is a natural mesh !!

Please come out and get educated about Lolita, the oldest captive Orca, currently kept in horrifyingly tight quarters at the Miami Seaquarium. There is a movement to retire her, and bring her back home to the Pacific Northwest to live out her days in freedom and possibly reunite with her pod here.

There is no cost to attend, but we will be giving information out about how/where to donate. Thank you , hope to see lots of you there !! :-)

Your hosts ~ Libbie and Dawn - any questions, click on our hyperlinks to ask us.
