Attention Members of Downtown Manhattan Social Network Group :

Recently, Josephine Gonzalez, our meetup organizer, asked me to assume the lead role for this meetup group. Under the threat of a million hugs from her, I humbly accepted =)

As many of you already know, I currently organize Salsa United (http://www.meetup.com/SalsaUnited/) my meetup group of over 6 years. In an attempt to consolidate the groups, this meetup group is scheduled for deletion on March 15th, 2010.

I urge all of our current and active members of Downtown Manhattan SocialNetwork Group to visit Salsa United and join at your earliest convenience.

Please, do not be alarmed by this move. I can faithfully serve our group needs by managing one group, instead of several. This not only streamlines the event announcements, but more importantly, saves me the fees associated with having multiple meetup groups; a fee that I will never pass on to the members.

Josephine will remain as the meetup co-organizer. She is a valued friend and her input is important to all of us. She will play a vital role in our future events.

Bueno, I hope to see everyone at our next scheduled meet-up. Email, text, or simply call me should you have any questions.
