Hola, me llama Michael. :-)
¿Que te gustaría hacer para mejorar tu español? (What would you like to do improve your Spanish for the better?)
I need to increase my vocabulary and usage of the various verb tenses. I'm decent at understanding Spanish but have a LOT of room for improvement when it comes to speaking Spanish.
¿Cuales son algunas de tus lugares favoritos para comer comida Hispana? (What are some of your favorite Hispanic restaurants?)
I like a lot of the small, simple taquerias. :-)
¿De donde eres? ¿De donde es tu familia? (Where are you from? Where is your family from?)
My family is from Houston. I was born in Michigan, but grew up mostly in Houston.
¿Quiénes son tus celebridades favoritos de origen hispano? (What are your favorite celebrities of Hispanic origen? actor, musician, singer, comedian, etc.
I'm a big fan of Salsa music and dancing, so a lot of my favorites would come from the world of Salsa. Singers like Gilberto Santa Rosa, Celia Cruz, and Hector Lavoe. Dancers like Frankie Martinez and Eddie Torres. Musicians like Carlos Santana and Tito Puente. Comedians like Paul Rodriguez, George Lopez, and Gabriel Iglesias. I've always thought that Jennifer Lopez is a very talented entertainer.
