Introduction
I want to speak Spanish more often and meet people with an interest in the language. Took plenty of grammar in school. I speak the language well, but concerned I'll get rusty.

I want to think of the right word in Spanish quickly instead of fumbling for the word or settling for Spanglish.

Born in Cuba, raised in San Juan PR. Have lived in Mexico and Spain.
¿Quiénes son tus celebridades favoritos de origen hispano? (What are your favorite celebrities of Hispanic origen? actor, musician, singer, comedian, etc.

This group is easy going, few seem to be shy and those that needed help with Spanish got it. There is a good ratio of solid Spanish speakers to those who are still improving their language skills. Truly a great opportunity to speak Spanish without feeling embarrased or self-concious.

Hey Bob, The meet-up I was talking about was the hike the group takes on the Lone Star Trails. I think the next one is Saturday, Oct. 27 or some similar date. It's title on here will say "HATS Lone Star trail, etc." Let me know if you can't find it. Thanks!
