Social Rockstar Happy Hour - Demos & Plugs: Social Web Get-Together

Meet and greet others interested in new media, social networking/web 2.0/video 2.0. Besides talking about our current interests & projects, suggested topics:

* Financing Web 2.0/social media efforts
* Technical developments
* Startups

If you're interested in meeting and sharing ideas/discussion around the subjects of web 2.0 and online video, join up and attend the meetup.

There is no fee to attend, and the venue has food & beverage options on their website - LotusLoungeDC.com.

Please drink & eat responsively. Looking forward to another networking/mingling get-together with the group... bring your contact cards and feel free to bring a friend or colleague.

(Note - Happy Hour start times are 6:30pm, to accommodate many people's schedules and align with the opening up of much free parking in DC after 6:30pm).

Also, as started at prior events, we're going to let people see what people are working on, building, and passionate about - Demos and Plugs.

The Demos and Plugs are not for recruiting or selling a product or service, but for showcasing members' original sites, projects, photos, etc. in the new media/social web 2.0 space (examples: diditz.com, contribune.org, MixedInk.com).

• (Please contact us if you want to demo, so we don't run out of room.) There should be wifi, but just in case, the demo should to be self-contained. This is an opportunity to share your work mostly one-on-one with attendees (we have other events that are larger group demos).
