Social Web Charity Auction

This event will need volunteers, and will be scheduled based on available locations & help, so please let the organizers know if you can help brainstorm.

This event also needs donated "stuff" to auction. By stuff we include things like:

• New items, including something you/your company sells
  
• Services, including your own time to consult in your speciality
  
• Services such as online memberships that you might offer (subscriptions, etc.)
  
• Something that someone would bid $10 to $1000+ on, with the proceeds going to a locally-focused charity.
  

Charity Auction

To give back to the community, we are having an auction. The charity/charities have not been chosen yet, and the volunteers who organize can help out in this area. We'd like to raise over $1000, and have this event occur on a semi-regular basis.

7:00 - 7: 30 - sign in, meet-n-greet, review auction list
7:30 - auction starts
?:00 - auction finishes, items won (or equivalent slips) are delivered
?:00 - social hour (at the venue or nearby)

The venue has not been chosen. As usual, metro-accessible is favored.
