Yeah, it was a lot of fun, but the rules were poorly written so that it seemed more complicated than it was.

I'm looking for character based or story-based games. I haven't played 4th Ed (beyond once at Origins) and tend to prefer games that focus more on character and plot than fighting. Although I do also enjoy DnD as its own style played straight. I guess I like verisimilitude, although I'm not particularly concerned about realism, if that makes sense?

I've played Amber, D&D (from way back in the days of the Red basic set up to 3.5), White Wolf, GURPS, HERO, etc.

D&D, Ghost Busters, Serenity, but we're (my wife and I) are up to try just about anything.

Any version of D&D (though never player 4th, won't mind getting into that), Rifts, Star Wars....I'm open minded. :)
