Warriors of QA

This session discusses the ancient strategies from Sun Tzu's book The Art of War and applies them to the realm of the high-performing software test engineer. Surprisingly, these same fundamental principles define our best means for success on the battlefield, in the board room, or in the development & testing labs.

You'll leave the session armed with strategies, techniques and a few unexpected surprises to help you survive, thrive and yes, defeat all enemies standing between you and testing excellence within your projects.

Laura Rose has been a quality assurance expert and customer advocate manager responsible in the software development industry for over 20 years. In addition to leading projects in both software programming and testing environments, she has thirteen years of programming experience and ten in test management.

She is currently a certified business and life coach. At Rose Coaching, she helps organizations, groups and individuals with their time management skills, project management training and work/life balance strategies.

She is available for workshops, seminars, group and individual coaching sessions.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
