Are you looking for like-minded progressives to hang out with in Boston? Want to cross-promote your events and campaigns? Are you new to the area and looking for groups to get involved in? Are you psyched about building strong cross-issue coalitions?

Join Socializing for Justice at the Foggy Goggle for the Second Putting the Social Back in Social Justice Event: "The 1/31."

This will be our biggest event yet, so if you haven't tried SoJust, now is the time. If you've already joined us in the past, be sure to come back for the same SoJust fun! We'll also have some psychics on hand to provide readings and let you know how your year's forecast is looking as well as gauge progress on those New Year's resolutions. Half of the proceeds we collect will be donated to a non-profit social justice organization of your choice!
[Sign up for psychics will be handled the night of...Be sure to get there early to get your name on the list!]

There will also be drink and appetizer specials - 1/2 price appetizers, $7 pitchers of beer, and $12 fishbowls.

At Socializing for Justice (SoJust) events you can hang out with friends, make new ones, find a date, get the scoop on a job, and find out what's going on this weekend - political or social. And the best part is that SoJust members share your vision of building a more just world.

No program. No speaker. Just arrive and enjoy yourself.

*Sorry, this event is 21+ and the bathroom is located downstairs (no elevator).
The Foggy Goggle is across from the Hynes Convention Center.

i'm so glad I came, finally! It was a blast meeting other people, playing the game, talking and laughing. Robbie, Hilary and the greeters were friendly, witty, well-organized and top-notch.

Great mix of people. Love the "ask me about" and "I'm looking for" stickers. It's a great way to jump right into interesting stuff about people, not just "where do you live?" and "where do you work?"
    •  Had a wonderful time. Met lots of nice people. Can't wait for the next one! Beware of aquateens.
    •  What is there to say? Yet another great SoJust event. You people amaze me...

I brought some co-workers this time and got a real kick out of sharing this event with them. I also spent only ten minutes trying to meet new people, and in that ten minutes I met five awesome attendees and saw a couple of old friends. Where else does that happen?! Oh yeah, I'd also like to mention that Robbie is one of the friendliest people on the planet, in case you weren't aware -- I mean, in case you haven't been to a SoJust meet-up yet!

awesome!!! i loved it, robbie! (except for the weird guy that kept asking everyone if they were gay...) dont' forget--you're going to email me about NOMAS. leeleethompson@gmail.com
    •  What a fun crowd! Thank you to all the folks that came early and helped meet & greet folks! I saw lots of business cards being passed and connections being made - let us know of any "networking successes" by posting them on the Message Board! And spread the word about SoJust - we hope folks see people like themselves and meet people they otherwise wouldn't have.
    •  I had lots of fun - a great crowd. I wish I hadn't been late so I could have had more time to talk to people!
