Introduction

Hi all! I heard about this group through a few friends and then the BRC emailed about the Valentine's Day social event specifically, which brought me to the meetup page. I've been active in anti-war/social justice/lgbt issues since high school.

(Your "introduction" will be visible on the homepage.) Use this space to provide links or more info: What social justice issues do you care deeply about? Do you work with any organizations or specific communities? What do you do for FUN? Thanks!

I care a lot about climate change issues and am part of a group specifically oriented towards Quakers. We have a blog (http://yafcwg.wordpress.com/) that some might find helpful.

How did you hear about Socializing for Justice? Please be specific so we know which websites, listserves or people to thank.

The Bi Resource Center as well as a few friends. (Anne-Marie)

  • Hi Emily! Thanks for joining Experimental Explorers. I'm Anna, your organizer for these events and a freelance travel writer and educator in Boston. If you have an idea for how to explore Boston through "experimental travel," please drop me a line! Also, if you enjoy exploring and traveling, you might like my blog, http://diyexplorer.com, where I write about getting off the beaten path and teach skills for adventure. Hope to see you at our next meetup!

  • I didn't hear from you so I arranged a carpool with Bill. Also Tammy who just signed up for the hike is now riding with me. If you want to carpool with us, you're welcome but Bill lives in Framingham (a bit out of the way). Drop him a line, he may have room in his Jeep.
