I work at an education nonprofit supporting teachers who teach "at risk" students. One of my goals in life is to help create and contribute to a more just, critical thinking society. I am very blessed to have a job that allows me to engage in these endeavors. When I am not working, I am riding my bike, playing guitar, reading books. I love water and spend a lot of time swimming laps at Walden pond during the summer or soaking in my bathtub during the winter. Nature is my medicine. Hiking and camping can cleanse the soul. I love to dance – more in my kitchen than at clubs – but I can do the club thing sometimes. I have an off and on relationship with running. Its on again and I had a nice 5 mile run today ☺. I love good, strong coffee and well made, healthy food. I love to cook. I like crafty, hoppy beer (but not every day). Health (mental, physical, and spiritual) is important.
