I'm a photojournalist and editor/publisher of Open Media Boston - the local progressive news weekly at www.openmediaboston.org. I'm also an artist.
(Your "introduction" will be visible on the homepage.) Use this space to provide links or more info: What social justice issues do you care deeply about? Do you work with any organizations or specific communities? What do you do for FUN? Thanks!
I care about social justice in general, but I work on bringing it about by being a journalist these days. In addition, I'm part of the Boston Media Reform Network. And I hang out at the encuentro 5 movement space. For fun, I wander around, look at things and take photos of them.
How did you hear about Socializing for Justice? Please be specific so we know which websites, listserves or people to thank.

Socializing for Justice (SoJust) is all about building a cross-cultural, cross-issue progressive community, network and movement in Boston based on the Philosophy of Abundance. We're doing it by putting the SOCIAL back in SOCIAL JUSTICE. We host events twice a month to meet each other and make connections. No Program. No Speaker. Just Us. Newcomers always welcomed!

It's free to join - share as much or as little as you'd like about your connection to social justice.
