Getting the Most out of Lightroom workshop

I have been using Photoshop since the early 1990′s and have become an expert at working quickly on photos and getting the most out of them. But now I use Lightroom for over 80% of my post-processing work due to the speed and quality I get from the program. I am amazed at what I can do in Lightroom and how fast I do it. Things that might take an hour in Photoshop I now do in less than 10 minutes in Lightroom and the quality is better. I’m hooked.

I’ll show you the best way to get your photos organized, where and how to store them and how to import. We’ll talk about creating catalogs and best practices for backing up and using multiple catalogs. I’ll show what all the windows and modules do and how to keep them under control. We’ll look at how to keep track of your photos once they are imported, the different ways to find and sort them, including using collections, filtering, flagging and mapping. I’ll show you how and why to add keywords, captions and other metadata.

You'll learn how to get the most out of your images using controls like white balance, exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, whites, blacks, clarity, vibrance and saturation. We’ll dig deep into how and why to use cloning, healing, cropping and masking. I’ll cover sharpening, noise reduction, lens correction, effects and camera calibration. We’ll talk about when, why and how you should export your photos and how to make the best prints.

I’ll show you real examples using my photos and I will work on your photos that you bring. You will see how I transform your images and get them to pop more than you expected.

$79 for the day-long workshop.

I missed this event since it was my son's last day of t-ball and my daughter's last day of tennis but I do hope that you will do this again sooner than later. Do you have a weekday schedule at all? Just curious, thank you!

If we can't make the whole time of the event is there another price for the workshop? I would love to go but have a family event in the afternoon.

I wish I could attend as I'm still learning Lightroom but have a family event in the afternoon.
