Hike: Audubon Bird Walk

  • May 3, 2014 · 8:00 AM

Saturday, May 3 (8:00 - 11:00): Audubon Bird Walk:

Led by David Hall of New Jersey Audubon, we will drive around to two or three of the best areas for spotting migratory birds. S. Mt. Reservation is a major rest stop for birds flying north in the Spring Migration. You must register for this walk. The size of the group is limited to 12 people, otherwise not many birds will be seen. Call nine-seven-three seven-six-two one-four-seven-five to register and find out where to meet. Bring binoculars. In the past we have seen Black & White Warbler, Ovenbird, Pileated Woodpecker, Baltimore Oriole, Red-eyed Vireo, and other warblers.
