Who are the Ladies of the Lake?
If you are familiar with Arthurian lore, you will recognize "the Lady of the Lake" as the mysterious woman who gave Aurthur his sword, Excalibur, but that is only one of her many faces.
Caitlin Matthews, in her fascinating book Ladies of the Lake, explores the lore of nine different Ladies/goddesses from the Celtic tradition who fit the role of Lady of the Lake in different ways. The Ladies we will explore are Igraine, Guinevere, Morgan, Argante, Nimue, Enid, Kundry, Dindraine. and Ragnell.
We will be studying one of these ladies each month for 9 months. With each segment, we will create a ritual to honor the featured Lady and share the path-working (guided visualization) from the book for each of these nine priestesses of Avalon.
Our third Lady will be Morgan Le Fay.
It is not necessary to commit to being there for every segment, but I highly recommend doing this work on your own for any segments you miss.

Note on directions: Street numbers are not in order. Ignore them. GPS, Mapquest, etc. will take you to the opposite end of the street. Go SOUTH on Edison from Graton Rd. (left if you are coming from Hwy. 116). Then go all the way to the last house on the left, without going around the corner. You will see a sign across the street saying: End County Maintained Road.
If you have questions, please call Bernadette at[masked] or reply to this post. I'm really looking forward to this!
