California Political Leadership School

This is not a class on political philosophy or ideas. This is practical, no nonsense and tested information on how to be effective in politics. This intense one-day training covers: Real Nature of Politics - why just "educating" people alone won't result in change

The Biggest Lie in Politics - and how the political class uses your convictions against you

How to work effectively at the Capitol - getting a bill sponsor and a roll call vote despite the leadership

How to build a group - putting pressure on legislators

If you don't mind shooting me a copy of any notes you might have taken, it would be much appreciated. [masked]

Frankly, I suspect that the Lord is really pulling me out of political activity right now, in order to get my CD done. Almost every political endeavor I've attempted has failed to work out lately, the past few months, anyway. I was really looking forward to this workshop today but family comes first. This really took the cake today, in that I got it that politics doesn't seem to be on my plate right now. As passionate as I am about our nation's political circumstances, and as heartbroken as I am by the shysters and liars who pose as our leaders today, I'm going to surrender and finish producing my CD, which has some social & political messages in it.

I am sure this will be a good class, and I encourage everyone to attend. However, the REAL problem is that we are dealing with a monopoly organization for the provision of laws, justice, and defense. This organization outlaws their competition, sells their services at monopoly prices, and continually reduces the quality of its services because they can. The solution is to open the market to competing providers of law, justice, and defense. (Polycentric legal systems as defined by Hans Hoppe.) If anyone has ideas to address the REAL problem at this level, I am eager to hear about them. Political activism is very important, but it does mean working within the monopolistic framework and is, in a sense, letting the enemy frame the discussion. Please be aware of this context.

I like the idea of educating the People and letting them choose for themselves. Few seem to know who they are - Sovereigns in a republic, not slaves (subjects) in a democracy- as most seem to think, especially if they've been taught in Government Schools.

Now I have to miss it. I am so disappointed but I've got family that I cannot let down that day. I will miss being there.

There will be a political leadership seminar June 21st, 9 am, at the Lomitas Schoolhouse, 2421 Lomitas ave, Santa Rosa, Ca. The material is crucial for anyone wanting to make a difference. Shawn Dow is the presenter and will share his experience to explain the education of politicians in office, as contrasted with education of the masses. In a Republic such as ours, the education of the masses doesn't matter because they don't make the decisions, politicians do. Educating the masses for political purposes, is a functional disconnect with political reality. Meanwhile, the real teacher of the political reality is the political reality itself, not the commentators and theoreticians.

I'm not responding to the framework of your comments. I'm making my own assertions.

I read what you wrote and moved on. There are useless, incompetent demagogues, posing as leaders, irrespective of political systems. A consequence of this is a disorder of power.

The REAL problem is not the monopolistic organization. The monopoly is doing well with its monopoly and has no problem with it. The REAL problem is that there is a disorder of power on the part of those who can't produce the changes they want. They LACK the power to institute anything, regardless of its theoretical value, academic development, or practical application. This class addresses the disorder and explores certain remedies. Without a remedy to this disorder of power, every other solution is in the framework of the enemy, as you stated above "...because they can." The fine details of what the enemy can and what its victims can't are irrelevant.

I clearly asserted that writing checks to the monopoly is supporting it. The "you" in quotation marks is a second person figure of speech. Whether it applies to you, personally, is up to you and not germane to the assertion.

The primary assertion is that there is a disorder of power.

Competitive governance is the central theme of:
    www.seasteading.org

There is a debate as to whether it is less expensive to build or to politic. $20 million/acre to build floating free area, can be compared to $1 million/acre to buy land with $19 million/acre to secure free conditions. Scaling up to a 1,000 acres, $20 billion is within the easy reach of many consortiums. How would you spend it? For reference, Monaco is about 1,200 acres, population 30,000, GDP $6billion

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
