I think I can share but, I don't know about teaching. I'll do some if it was necesary but, I am not a teacher.
The Key is magnificent. Brian is a man full of love and with a super inteligence to express it and share it with all of us who are lucky to listen to his sessions.

Hi Lety!
Thank you so much for the compliment! I am so glad you like my shots!
I use a Canon 20D, not the latest gear but i love it! I mostly shoot with a 18-200mm lens. I don't like messing around with switching lens so I went with a wide angle/zoom lens. Very versitile!
Cheers!
Jennifer
I'm just getting home now. I don't think I can make it. I tried to contact you earlier however Meetup was blocked at the school I was at and I couldn't overwrite it so no contact. I hope you can make it one way or another.
Hi Lety
I had a rather sleepless night last night, and still have to spend the day with a Gr. 5 class, and trying to switch an appointment I have afterwards. I want to attend the ballet but I am not 100% sure at the moment. To be on the safe side, if someone else confirms with a ride. I would suggest you accept. I'll be certain around noon.
Cheers,
Mike

I'm trying to attend this tomorrow. I will be coming from Mississauga. A subway near the 401 would work at 5:30. Last year, I picked someone up at Yorkdale subway - very convenient. I'm going again this year because last year my SD card was bad and many shots had gaping holes in them. This year will be better.

Hi Nancy: As I use Nikon equipment I'm not too knowledgeable about Canon equipment except to say that it is excellent quality. As for the lens I'd say an 18mm-35mm zoom is best, you will use it for 90% of your photography (no matter how many other lenses you get afterwards). You can sometimes save a lot of money buying the camera used, you can look on Craigslist or Kijiji but be careful of scams (never send money to anyone who is going to ship you a camera). Good luck!
Hi Nancy, please get in touch with me directly via email, and I can give you some advise on your first DSLR purchase. What is your budget? What sort of Photography are you interested in? As well, have a go through our discussion boards, where other members have inquired about their first DSLR purchase as well. Specifically under "Cameras, Lenses and Photographic Accessories" section.

Hello Nancy , I will do my best to answer your questions in next few days. Our group developed a very helpful format that benefited nearly everyone who attended. Sharing, caring, and developing individual and group goals, that we all encouraged each other to realize. I look forward to updating the meet-up board more as soon as I have time. If you show up I am pretty sure you will benefit. Best Wishes and Seasons Greetings, , Robert
