So who is a Hacker?

In a nutshell, they are anyone who solves a problem with a not-so-obvious solution with only the resources available to them. MacGyver was the quintessential hacker! We think everyone has a little MacGyver in them. If you've created some improvised pressure cooker, or maybe turned your computer into a central home management system, Hack and Tell is a group where you can share your ideas with other clever members.

Hack and Tell?

We're a group of technophiles! We organize engaging events to share discussion on all things programming, robotics, advances in tech research and current events. We originally started putting on regular events for hackers to show off fun projects they've been working on. We had excellent projects shared and are still looking for more. We also regularly get together to talk about the latest technology trends and events....over beer (and sometimes BRUNCH!) Not to mention other community events we like to participate in as a group.

Sounds great! Now what?

Then RSVP to our next event!! If you're thinking about presenting something but haven't finalized your plans, feel free to email the organizer, Mike (that's me), and I'll help answer any questions you have. This doesn't commit you to anything! We will email you to get details or help get your presentation from brainmatter to paper if you need it.

Hack and Tell is in other cities, too!

Bill

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
