Thanks for the link, that certainly clears the issue of the two.  The CS5 Extended is the only version offer by Tech Soup so that is the one I would have to go with. I am new to Photoshop as I use Aperture on my Mac.  I only hope that one day I will be able to accomplish half the things offered.  3D sounds exciting.
