SSS Christmas Party

We will be having our Christmas Party at the Mountaineers Club. The party will run from 5 pm till 10 pm. Potluck dinner will be at 6 pm. There will be music and dancing. Please bring your favorite holiday dish for the dinner. We will provide ice, plates, cups, napkins, and cutlery. BYOB. Due to the high cost of renting the hall we will need to charge $10 per person to cover the costs. Please pay with cash at the door because we are not set up to take credit cards. Hope to see you there!

It was my first event and it was wonderful! The variety of food was amazing and the dancing so much fun :) And everyone I met was welcoming. Thank you, Jim and Susette, for sponsoring such a great event!

As always, I got to see a lot of old friends and touch base, and I got to meet a lot of new friends as well... the food was awesome... the music could have been a greater variety... I did get to dance, yet I could have danced a lot more... put some swing music in the next time and some more slow dances as well...

People, decor were terrific. Lack of live, or at least exciting music, and dancing arrangements not so much.

I was on my way from my Suzuki Christmas party when my roommate called for help with my other Suzuki. Much to my dismay I missed the party cuz I had to deal with AAA and I had to stay with the tow truck driver! I am so bummed too Kat! Next time we will carpool!

I went, sort of. Drove to Tacoma after traffic nightmare, got lost, I have bad night vision, drove around until 7pm and turned around. I am SO bummed!

Naomi, everyone is super friendly. I meet new people everytime I go to an event. You should definitely join in the festivities on the 11th.

So, I would love to come however.....this will be my very first event that I attend....Is this a close knit group where everyone already knows one another?

Also: "If you want to serve alcoholic beverages the state requires that renters have a banquet permits? which are obtained at any Liquour Store for $10."

I did call the Club the other day to ask about particulars inregard to liquor and the kitchen so people know what we're working with:

"Our clubhouse has a wonderful kitchen with two virtually new 30"? stoves, two big refrigerators, two big coffee urns, a microwave oven, double sinks. We do not furnish utensils, dishes, tableclothes. It's a great place for potlucks, the club has them a lot."

Deposit refunded if the place is clean.
