I led the University of Bristol's data.bris project to establish a research data repository and support service. I now work with researchers across the University on a wide variety of research projects involving analytics, visualisation and data management. My PhD was on combining eScience workflows and higher-order computational logic for profiling and matching heterogeneous data.
Our data.bris system uses RDF to describe datasets published in the University's peta-scale research data storage facility. The public interface uses the Open Knowledge Foundation's CKAN software. In other work we use Jena, CouchDB, Cassandra and great tools like D3.
