  • Come on over to my small but cozy home and let’s play some games!

I have limited seating for 8, so if you have any folding chair(s) you could bring that would be great, otherwise you might be stuck sitting on a folding step ladder! Thank you in advance.

    1. Don’t feed the dogs nor pet or play with them if you’re eating.

    2. Hosting is expensive so if you damage anything or lose any gaming equipment it is considered proper etiquette to pay to repair/replace such. If handling food during play, WIPE your fingers clean before touching gaming equipment!

    3. A dish and/or beverages is expected from every person attending, including each +1. An alternative to bringing food and/or beverages, is to contribute $10 to the host to offset the expense of hosting.

    4. Bags of chips should be the absolute last resort when it comes to choosing what to bring! Only bring them if you really, really want to eat them. If you're going to bring chips, bring dip or salsa that goes along with the chips to make them more edible.

    5. Don't bring food that you yourself aren't going to eat.

    6. Avoid ice cream and other things that need to be kept frozen or heated.

Thanks for your cooperation and understanding!

When you RSVP, please comment what you will bring so we don't get too many duplicate items. I'll provide hot/cold water, hot tea, and hot chocolate.

I'm new to hosting game meetups so I only have a small selection of games (see below) but everyone is welcome to bring their own to share. Most of mine are more classic boardgame style, but feel free to bring any Euro, party, strategy, or other classics.

MAH JONG The ancient Chinese rummy style tile game (not the solitaire match game you play on the computer). For 2 or more players.

LORDS OF WATERDEEP A strategy board game; you take on the role of one of the masked Lords of Waterdeep, secret rulers of the city. Through your agents, you recruit adventurers to go on quests on your behalf, earning rewards and increasing your influence over the city. Expand the city by purchasing new buildings that open up new actions on the board, and hinder or help the other lords by playing Intrigue cards to enact your carefully laid plans. For 2 to 5 players.

CLUE The classic Whodunit? Deduce by elimination who killed Mr. Boddy; 6 suspects, 9 rooms, & 6 weapons. For 2 to 6 players.

CLUE MASTER DETECTIVE The classic whodunit but with more weapons, more rooms, and more suspects. A total of 10 suspects, 12 rooms, & 8 weapons. For 3 to 10 players.

DIRTY MINDS This adult game of naughty clues will expose the lecherous from the saintly. Players read clues to their opponents who try to guess the subject. But these are no ordinary clues! They may lead you to believe that you've got a dirty mind! A correct answer will get you a "dirty mess" card, and the first player or team to spell "DIRTY' wins. For 2 to 6 players.

GUILLOTINE It's the revolutionary card game where you win by getting a head. This irreverent and humorous card game takes place during the French Revolution. Players represent rival guillotine operators vying for the best collection of noble heads over 3 rounds. Each round, 12 nobles are worth varying points, depending on their notoriety. During your turn, play action cards to change the order of the line so you can collect the best nobles. Will you be skillful enough to bribe the guards and collect Marie Antoinette? Or will you lose points for beheading the Hero of the People? Heads are going to roll - the player with the most points at the end of the game, wins. For 2 to 5 players.

PHASE 10 TWIST A wickedly wild board game of risk, reward and terrific twists. Based on one of the world’s best-selling card games, players complete rummy phases to move around the game board. players landing on the unique TWIST space must make choices, which can offer big rewards or failure. Three discard piles increase strategy and speed of play. To win a player must complete one of 10 brand new phases. It's twisted from start to finish. Includes game board, discard/draw tray, 2 decks of Phase 10 Twist cards, cardholder, 6 playing pieces and instructions. For 2 to 6 players.

DESPERADOS card game. Times were hard for miners during the Gold Rush. Rival miners fought over the rights to the few productive gold, silver and copper mine sites. Then came the Desperados. Those gold thieves and mine robbers showed up in all shapes and sizes. It was best to have the help of a reliable partner to fight ‘em off. In Desperados, two players form just such a partnership in order to prospect and develop gold, silver and copper mines. So grab a partner and work those mines together, stay ahead of your rival prospectors, and watch out for those pesky Desperados! For 2 to 4 players.

ELECTRONIC TALKING CLUE FX With a talking game board and thrilling sound effects, the classic game of Clue is now more fun than ever. Find out who killed Miles Meadow-Brook, where they did it and with what weapon. The Butler tracks your moves and narrates the mystery while you track the usual suspects--Colonel Mustard, Miss Scarlet--through the winding halls of the old Tudor mansion. For 2 to 4 players.

CLUE THE GREAT MUSEUM CAPER A 3-D game of detection and evasion, one of you will play the invisible Thief and make all your moves in secret behind the Thief's Shield. The other players will work together to sniff out your whereabouts, lay chase, and prevent your getaway! For 2 to 4 players.

ADVANCE TO BOARDWALK A fast paced version of the classic (Monopoly) game that is fun to play and has a lot of excitement. For 2 to 4 players.

RUMMIKUB The object is similar to rummy card games, combining your tiles in runs (consecutive numbers in the same color) or sets (groups of the same number). For 2 to 4 players.

MANCALA The African Stone game. For 2 players.

UNO The classic action card game.

CARDS standard decks, what more can I say

ATARI 2600 (yes, a true classic) and like 30 or so games cartridges for it!

NINTENDO ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM but only have a few games for it

I had a rough time sleeping due to my hand arthritis flaring up. I'm going to try to go back to bed and at least get a couple of hours. I'll probably be closer to 1.

I'll bring soda and some kind of entree-ish thing. Since it's just 4 of us, can you give me some examples of stuff that you like, Smrf? :)
