On Saturday July 18th at 9am, 9 lucky individuals will be doing 2 dives on the recently sunk "Vandenberg" shipwreck in Key West! smile We've made arrangements to dive from the "Sea Eagle" and to stay at accommodations provided by Captain's Corner Dive Center. The accommodations include a bunk house {upstairs - 4 bunk beds that sleep 8 (w/half bath)} and a chalet (upstairs) with 4 beds (half bath) {full bath w/shower is downstairs} and another house w/ 2 queen size beds & a fold out couch w/full bath & a kitchen. I've stayed here a few years ago and enjoyed it very much. It will cost $50.00/night per person and photos of the facility can be seen on their Dive Center page. I've reserved the entire facility for Friday and Saturday night 7/17 and 7/18.
These dives will cost $55.00 per diver. Air tank rental is $10.00 each; Nitrox tank rental is $20.00 each.

AOW certification is required unless the diver has (Insured-Active) Instructor or Divemaster supervision. The depth in the sand at the bow is 142' and at the stern it's 153'. Most of the dive can be done at the deck at 100' or less.
If an Open Water diver wants to join us on the dive without it being part of an AOW or Nitrox course it would cost $50.00 for Supervision in addition to all other fees.
Dive computers are required for this DEEP dive and are available to rent with ample notice.
If anyone wants to dive again Saturday afternoon or Sunday, please feel free to book it yourself with Captain's Corner Dive Center. You can stay with us the entire weekend and dive with us (or not) and stay elsewhere, or just stay one night if you'd like. We're totally flexible. Please pay ElRay's for the room, the Saturday morning Vandenberg dives and whatever tanks you need to rent for those dives. See the comments below for additional info. regarding diving again if you want - If enough people sign up, (It's a big boat - they need at least 8 to run. http://discountkeywes...) you can even dive Saturday night!
