cool We will be hosting a beach dive in the morning. WE WILL BE PROVIDING DIVE FLAGS TO ALL DIVE AND SNORKEL GROUPS. Please use a safety tube if you're not the one with the flag. You can use El Ray's lot for free parking. Any equipment needed will be available to rent, including air tanks. WATER TEMP IS 82 DEGREES. We have decided to give our friends at Stingers Pizza more support since they have been so generous with us. They have a great deal: 2 slices of pizza and a soda for $5. They also have a great lunch menu, so if you are hungry after the dive, Stingers is the place to be.
Make sure to get plenty of rest before the dive. It is around a 30 minute swim to the drop-off, which is the first reef (25ft. - 30ft. deep). If it has been a while since your last dive you can always hang out around the broken reef which is closer in. (15ft. - 20ft. deep) We encourage you to take pictures to put up on the meet up group. If you have any questions or suggestions please let us know. If you are snorkeling, please post "SNORKEL" in the comment section when you RSVP. (Wetsuits for warmth and buoyancy are available to rent also) Have fun, enjoy life and be safe! smile This is our first kayaking event, so if you have one - bring it! We are planning to go out diving on the second or third reef depending on conditions.

    •  Great Dive ! Saw a nice school of Snook,a couple of huge Lobsters and Green Turtle. Good Time........
    •  Met some nice people. Waited for another kayak diver for a long time with little luck. Ended up towing my wife out with the kayak and she snorkeled while I dove with my hookah rig pulling the kayak. Forgot my weight belt so had trouble staying down. Visibility was not near as good as past dives here. Great fun though. Thought the shop kayak was going out but never saw it.
    •  It was quite a bit of swim out to the mooring buoys, but there was plenty to see once out there. I spotted a couple of lobster, a sea turtle, a small school of tarpon, and an extremely tiny nudibranch (2-3cm). There are a couple smaller reef lines on the way out, but don’t contain anywhere near the population of fish in the outer reef.
