    Raw meals/snacks for young children

    A great idea is to have an event for the parents to learn how to provide raw/veg*n snacks and meals for our young children. We know how picky they can be! I am putting the idea out there for us to come together to find someone who is well versed in this area to share their knowledge. Maybe a meetup at the Lifestyle Center at Whole Foods, or anywhere else... Anyone interested???

    Farmers Market

    A new farmers market is opening on November 8th in Hollywood. Just got a flyer today from the folks at www.ygfarmersmarket.com. It'd be great to support local growers and get healthy snacks!

    Meetup for Poetry Reading Event at Sublime

    Sept. 6th from 4:00 to 5:00 The author, Ms. Katz, will read poems about animal and environmental rights from her book. Event fee is $20.00 which includes 2 glasses of vegan wine, refreshment, the poetry reading and a personalized copy of Metamorphosis: Poems to Inspire Transformation (retail value $18).
