The Long Room Bar is a nice bar in Tooting Broadway & they do FREE movie screenings on Monday evenings.
We can meet from 6.45pm - for drinks/dinner and the movie will be screened at 8pm.
There's another social group that has started to come along on Mondays too, so if you want a sofa seat then you need to be early/on time; the venue doesn't allow seat reservations.
We can take drinks/dinner into the room where they show the movie.

And on Mondays their burgers are 2 for £11, with a choice of beef, lamb, chicken & veggie (they have other choices on their full menu)
There's a map on the bottom of the above link.
If you're coming by tube - come out of Tooting Broadway tube - turn right (away from the traffic light junction) - the pub's on the same side of the street as the tube station - it's on a corner - it's a short walk.
If you're driving there is parking on the side street - free after 5.30pm.
The film got great reviews & everyone that I know that has seen it says it's a must see; I kept missing it every time I wanted to see it - I'm dying to see it!

This group has a no-show policy as below:
In order to provide a place for all interested members & to be fair to the hosts & to the venues, there is a no show rule for our meetups:
- if you have RSVP'd yes and don't show up or
- if you change your RSVP from yes to no within 12 hours before the meetup takes place
you get 1 no-show point. Once you have reached 3 points within one year the meetup organisers have the right to exclude you from the group, should they choose to do so.
Also, if you are a no-show to an event then the host of that event has the choice to exclude you from their future events if they wish; hosts are not paid for their time, they give up their own time to organise & hosts events so it is extremely frustrating when there are no shows.
This rule is here so everyone can enjoy the events - you and the hosts - it's common courtesy to let hosts know if you can't make an event - so please ensure you keep your RSVP up to date.
